I think the importance of doing activist work is precisely because it allows you to give back and to consider yourself not as a single individual who may have achieved whatever but to be a part of an ongoing historical movement.

Not all internships translate into college credit, even though the internship provider (The Femme Oasis) indicates that it is possible to earn academic credit for the experience. It is up to the institution to grant academic credit, not the internship host (The Femme Oasis). Terms for internship credit vary based on the institution granting credit. As the prospective intern, speak with an academic advisor to determine if and how it is possible to pursue academic credit for internship experience. The number of hours earned for internship experience is dependent upon the major. Speak to your academic advisor. Required paperwork varies by institution and department.
